Meet Stefani Reinold
Dr. Stefani Reinold is a board-certified psychiatrist, eating disorders specialist, and perinatal mental health expert. She graduated from Baylor University Honors College with a degree in Biology and Medical Humanities and completed a dual degree MD-MPH degree at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio. After medical school, she attended George Washington University Hospital for psychiatry residency training. While at GWU, she specialized in perinatal mental health with a special focus on eating disorders in pregnancy and postpartum. She has presented nationally and internationally on the topics of Binge Eating Disorder in Pregnancy, and The Association Between Postpartum Body Image and Postpartum Depression.
She published her first book, entitled Let Your Heart Out: How to Escape Her Thoughts and Reconnect With the Most Important Part of Yourself, in March 2017. In her book, she shares her personal story, professional case stories, and also, her uniquely crafted HEART Method®: a self-led therapy tool. Furthermore, she utilizes her public health background and her passion for media and communications in her online platform where she hosts a
podcast, It’s Not About the Food, and runs virtual programs to help individuals make ultimate, lasting peace with food.
When she’s not following her career passions, she loves reading, writing, cooking, working out, or hanging out with her family– husband, Travis, 7-year-old daughter Kate, 4-year-old son Ryker, and 1 year old daughter Lily.
